Emily Button and the Christmas Tree

Ooh!, Christmas Day is coming everso everso soon now, isn’t it? That’s why we put the tree up today. Everyone helped and we all sang `Away in a Manger` as we did it. Do you know that one? Mousey tried to hang some cake on one branch; then when it fell off she said she’d better clear it all up…into her mouth! After we’d put on the bibbly, bobbly baubles and twinkly tinsel the WHOLE room looked all glitterish and magic-y. You could send me a picture of you by your Christmas tree. That way I would get to see lots and lots of trees, and lots and lots of you, yay!
